It seems Emerald has a message for Ruby Rose.I haven't made an artwork in over a month thanks to sickness and weather. I do hope you all forgive me and thank you very much for the watchers and anyone else who has seen and liked my art so far. I'm trying to improve rest assured.

mercury and emerald betray cinder and become future allies
but emerald runs away so she doesn't disturb or hurt ruby anymore, even though ruby wants to do nothing but help her. and mercury is kept under watch by the government. you know in some movies they have powerful prisoners, who they used to help them, so they inject bombs in their necks? that's HIS situation. and yang was the one how changed him (slightly BUT he's still a cocky jerk)
and I think the note is a warning from cinder saying "oh little red, little red, it amazing how far you've come, but I'm afraid this is it. ozpin was a bother and your friend pyrrha was...persistent on stopping me. but let me just say this. I intend on continuing my plans WHICH, I will not discuss, and I intend on keeping my distance away from you, though it should by the other way round. so, if I a so much see your self, face, leg or even toe...you wont last long dear, love cinderxxx"

That's quiet the scary note there O_O. But yeah Mercury won't end up too well with his mentality though, he seems to chaotic evil to go for the good side. I think him and Emerald are gonna fight then the result may be a stalemate with Emerald running away and Mercury being lost and alone.

yeah but mercury was abused by his dad and emerald was on the streets, making them easy targets for cinder. I think mercury will open up to yang and they will hate one another, OH HAND YANG ISN'T GONNA BE NICE, but they become somewhat closer and then the relation ship between them will go somewhere plus the conversation might go like this might, "yeah this is me *sniif* want some, wanna try and brake my legs again, well go ahead they're gone, I FAKED IT ALL *SNIIIIFF* look how pathetic I am, all that confidence thrown away, now I know how you feel, BUT YOU HAVE A HAPPY FAMILY YOU HAVE LOVE ONES, I'VE GOT NOTHING *SNIIIFF*, I've got...nothing" then yang says "I'm never gonna forgive you, but when I see some one hurt, even if its a jerk like you, I cant ignore you, TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED AND WHY YOU HELPED CINDER AND WHY YOU ENDED UP THIS WAY, and maybe, JUST MAYBE, I could help".
I don't think ruby will hold a grudge and she'll probably say "EMERALD I BLAME YOU FOR DESTROYING PENNY, JUST KNOW THAT IM YOUR FRIEEEEEND" then emerald will be somewhat toughed and when cinder will try and kill her, she saves her because we see how cinder treats her and that she's a pawn. she hides away from ruby and leaves *a note* saying "thank you for calling me your friend" with her saying to herself "and thank you for making me see the truth"
even to broken records can be fixed and put back into motion, heck I even think neo can be fixed (though she's mute :l)

Yeah Maybe there's a 1% chance Mercury might turn around, but if he does, he's not gonna live too long.
We all know Ruby is the heart of the show. Ruby carries innocence and goodness with her even through tragedy and loss. I'm pretty sure she won't be killing anyone that she sees can redeem themselves.

if that's the case your right on those things, but I'm gonna bet all my chips on black, heck maybe he'll be a really good character in the next volumes. and I don't cinder's redeemable at this point

Indeed but I don't see Mercury getting any better till like 3 or 4 more volumes ahead. He seems too proud of the mess he made at the moment to be fighting for the good side at any point right now.
And let's not forget he pretty much ruined Yang's reputation to the rest of the world and even beat up her sister Ruby.
That's gonna take a while to float up, let alone sink in.

well because of all the chaos no one gives a crap about what yang did anymore,BUT SURE, PEOPLE WILL SAY "HEY BLONDY DON'T BRAKE ANY LEGS WHILE YOUR AT IT HUH". I mean people will be un easy round her. but listen, she'll "redeem" herself in volumes 4-5, and I'm pretty sure in the last volume (volume 9), people will be praising team rwby for saving the world, and she'll be able to travel the world no worry's...unless theres a new spin off series where there's a new organisation, the members of team rwby are in their 40's and are too busy, so its her son, ruby's daughter, Weiss's daughter and a new character, who's name begins with B like Ben or something (because Blake might die or will never have kids). then in that case WAR NEVER ENDS...even if you kill the centre of all evil.

Oh, Mercury is definitely an a-hole, and I'm kind of 50/50 on wether he'll change sides; but really, if you were raised by a murderer who trained you to be a murderer until you murdered him before being hired by murderers to commit MORE murder, would you be completely right in the head?

Probably not, which is why it's gonna be nearly impossible for him to see the light.
There is a chance though , that he could be in it for something else. If I recall correctly Mercury asked "what's in it for me" in the flashback episode. We haven't been told what it is. And whatever it is, it must be a big enough deal to make him want to fight for the dark side and not care about what happens to allies or enemies.

All I'm saying is that everybody sympathizes with Emerald, but Mercury has the better Freudian Excuse.
Either or both could make the eventual switch.

Sorry; what can I say? I just can't buy Emerald having a 'good heart' with everything she's willingly been part of. I can't wait until Ruby avenges what she did to Penny and Yang.

The way I see it, Emerald much like her Semblence deludes herself into thinking she's not that bad. And also that like Cinder and Mercury, thinks regular life is worthless and power and control are the only things that matter so breaking their happy huntress bubble is good for them in the end.
Ie, its fine about Penny, she wasn't real. It's fine about Yang, people will think she's a violent brute but that just means they'll be afraid of her and won't want to mess with her and isn't everyone else being scared of your power what everyone wants (cause that's all Cinder cares about). It's fine about Yang's arm, prosectics are better for fighting and killing anyway and that's the most important thing.
It's fine about Pyrrha, because she had to be only looking out for Jaune for her own ego and he's better off without her because people are only in it for themselves and if he's mad because she was the only girl willing to sleep with him he can just go for Ruby or whoever because nobody really likes anyone geniunely and only for selfish reasons.
It's fine that their hunter schooling was stopped, hunters are saps that just get killed anyway. It's fine that civilians don't like hunters anymore, people suck and now Ruby and co can see how much they really do and why they shouldn't want to risk death for them. It's good that Beacon was lost, Ozpin was just using them anyway and they'll get more powerful on their own. It's good that Ruby isn't so naive and happy anymore, the world sucks she's no longer blind to it and now she'll be a better ruthless survivor like Emerald and co (which is the only way to live)
She only started feeling bad when looking at the civilians getting mauled by Grimm because there was pretty much no way to twist that into being a good thing for them.
Still I expect she'll insist she only helped make Ruby better when they confront each other. Cinder probably will too for that matter. Though Ruby won't buy it.

I think Emerald is starting to turn better, but I'm not saying she's a good guy, of course not. She's gonna end up a neutral and I drew this cause it portrayed Emerald giving herself up to whatever Ruby is going to do. At least with that, she can let it go and wash all this guilt off of her hands. Be it lying down in a pool of blood, or being given a second chance to redeem herself. I think Ruby can be the emotional compass every character can rely on in times of need.

I think its a warning not, but I can see the note saying "oh, and I hope emmy's taken care of you now" the emerald tries to cut her neck but ruby dodges. but I see emerald a a potential ally

i can imagine Emerald doing this after realising that she's just a expendable pawn to Cinder and does this to get back at her before either handing herself in or disappearing entirely

I don't think she's going to turn herself in. I think she's going to do something similar to what Locus from Red vs. Blue did. What I mean by that is near the end RvB Season 13, Locus decided that he would try to redeem himself for all the wrong that he did, but not from inside a cell. I can see Emerald doing something very similar to that.

I'm surprised Ruby isn't trembling, desperately trying to resist the urge to behead Emerald on the spot after what happened to Yang and Penny. But will Emerald have the courage in canon to confront Ruby like this, we'll just have to wait and see.
