I see. Well, it looks great. I mean, that might be because I'm a sucker for corruption based stuff (seriously, more stories need to do that), but I think the imagination in the pic is really great and goes beyond, "Oh, here's Penny brought back, but as an evil villain." After all, it does show something she could do if she returns in the show and becomes evil; control other technologies.

You... probably haven't heard of it. It's a Tabletop RPG (games like "Dungeons & Dragons") called Kult, which was a Swedish horror game that tried to put in pretty much every possible horror element at the time into its universe. Anyway, one thing about Kult is that people can "Awaken", which is to see the world for what it really is and in doing so, become a god. However, going too far on the "dark path" to Awakening would make one a monster. So, perhaps something like that happened to Penny here.

That sounds awesome! I'd love to see more of it. I think it would be great to see more RWBY characters corrupted, especially since Salem's own existence leads to it being a possibility (after all, we don't know what she can do or how she came to be ). I also will admit... I kind of want to see it myself, since I have this massive crossover fanfic I'm working on, which will have RWBY as a part of it, and since a major theme/motif is that the heroes are more at risk for becoming corrupted rather than just dying, I wanted to get some ideas on how to make the characters look and act. Now, I'm not suggesting you do it for my sake; do what you feel is best. I'd just love to get some inspiration, even just a bit, from you as well if you do do it.

Oh yes, certainly. And hopefully, that's what Penny does here; overcome. It's the best way to portray corruption works when you show the character can rise above their new dark side. In fact, that's another theme of Kult, since a part of the story is that characters are either overcoming their dark sides or you see just how monstrous you are for embracing it.

Anything you normally are used to seeing as cute and nice being twisted is instantly the most terrifying cause you're used to the opposite.
