Description
This is how I do it.My watchers voted and wanted to see a plush tutorial. I used my latest plush [link] as the star of this craziness. I didn't go into much detail about how to cut out certain details, so if there are any questions feel free to ask in a comment or note

Great job but, are the plushies just for show, like, does the hair break off the body if you tug it even lightly?

No way! I can whip them around by their leg and yank at their hair

XD the trick is comparing as you sew, I used to make marks on the fabric with sharpie so I'd know exactly when to turn and make it even

So cute! I've never made plushies, but I really want to learn. What material do you usually use and how do you knot the thread for the details?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
AlchemyOtaku17 In reply to typopirate [2010-08-15 03:44:54 +0000 UTC]
I use felt and fleece because they don't fray at the ends, also felt is great for little details because it cuts cleanly. Sometimes I'll need to use something different if the fabric has to be a peculiar print or texture.
