Toadette is my #1 Mario character in Mario series.
After I saw the trailer, I made a theory of mine. I would think if when Toadette wears that crown, she’s like secret princess or something. But she is a secret princess to myself.
Man, I can’t stop thinking about it.

Yeah, it is hard to believe. this design or at least a design similar would have been much better that just making up some stupid mashup of two characters that most people don't even like. who asked for Toadette to be playable in the first place?
Oh, come on. who the f*ck wants Peach playable? (beside her annoying fans) i don't know about You, but i say Yoshi should be playable in New Super Mario Bros. yeah, i know you usually ride him in those games, but who says you gotta rid him in the next New Super Mario Bros game (if we get one on the Switch that is) that game hasn't been made yet, so they can still think it over.
I would say Wario and Waluigi should be playable too, considering how Wario was playable in Super Mario 64 DS (which by the way came out of the oven way too early) and Waluigi should have been right there with him (which he wasn't sadly) but i don't think anyone will agree, seeing how they're more of anti heroes than heroes.

Toadette looks so cute and beautiful , she is one of my favorite Mario characters next to Mario, Luigi, Toad, Daisy, Yoshi, and Peach. It's so nice to see her in New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe as a playable character in a Non-Mario spinoff game, now if only if Daisy were Playable too, so that she can join Luigi. Outstanding job with Toadette, fan art of her is so cute.

Thank you very much! She's my top favorite Mario character so I'm also glad she's part of a main Mario game! I don't know if Captain Toad counts though.
Maybe the next game can have both Peach and Daisy next to Mario and Luigi. They make a nice looking team so it would be great to see.

I plan to do the same. Regular Toadette all the way! I haven't seen all the abilities to be honest, I barely paid attention after the Peachette reveal.

And hear abilities is pretty much all related to jumping (floating, double jump and even an automatic jump if you fall in a pit for an extra chance, honestly it feels like an Nabbit-like power-up, such a weird choice imo)
My biggest issue with this is if it'll replace other power-ups. Would kinda suck to get an crown out of the block while other characters get an Fire Flower for example.

Huh? So it's similar to Nabbit? I don't see the need to have an entire new character to have the same abilities then. It's not like Tropical Freeze had two Funky Kongs. xP
Oh, I forgot about that. It seems she had a power up in the trailer since she was in a different color but I'm not sure now. I hope she's allowed to use them since I really want to see her with a flying squirrel suit. Don't disappoint me any more Nintendo!

Well, Nabbit is invincible to enemies while Peachette is pretty much invincible of falling on a pit. If they wanted to implement that, they should have just buffed Nabbit imo
And I really want too! At least make it an toggle on/off option, Nintendo!

That's a nice idea! Let us toggle off the "easy" mode so we don't have to be pending at all time about the power-up!

Honestly whoever's idea the Peachette thing was, augh, I can't respect you. It's almost as if there's some underlying message of a little girl shouldn't be true to themselves and that they need to be someone else to great.
Toadette, you are beautiful and amazing just the way you are!

I wouldn't be surprised if they had these thoughts. They probably see Toadette as not being capable of doing anything for being, well, a little toad, so they followed with this odd idea.
I felt that this game was going to make Toadette shine again, as she did in Captain Toad, but they completely ruined it seconds after she transformed.

Of course! Aw, but that’s not really a problem; it is awesome to see the animals in your style, but the humans are always super cute and fit the world of Animal Crossing so well, I doubt anyone’s complaining.
