Description
This is my picture for the awesome upcoming Rare Anthro Calendar 2010 for which I chose to illustrate the Harpy Eagle.You can look through the project works at the Official Rare Anthro Calendar .
Harpy Eagles are utterly awesome creatures. Being one of the largest birds on earth, their appearance in addition with their yelling is nearly kingly and thrilling.
I've only got 4 calendars left! These are collector items and won't be available anymore after that! Note me, if you're interested. :]

the background and the atomsphere and lighting it creates are magnificent....they really make this piece. The harpy eagle looks very regal and it's interesting how you have gone from two legs to four.

Aah I love Harpy Eagles! Nice work with the anthropomorphism, it's awesome.
And the sky! It's amazing! It's almost as if the background is on fire, and the Harpy is calmly watching as the city burns.
The shading in this picture is wonderful, keep up the beautiful work!

The sky is amazing, but then again, so is the background in general(not saying the eagle and his beautiful feather coat isn't).
I really like the houses(/temple?) in the background aswell.
There's something special with his gaze, as if he knows something is going to happen, or something... (xD)

Wow.As it is beautiful. You are really right. These beings very beautiful and exciting. Their habits eventually a kind. You so beautifully have transferred it. It looks very beautiful and wild that is peculiar to it. Looking at it you feel freedom. I so like this work. It is possible to look and look at this miracle. You have perfectly represented this wonderful being.
