Like a Virgin and another Great Page. Predator FTW. I guess taking one of these guys out isn't hard after spending time camping with uncle Dutch.

i love them!
because they are the only "evil" alien race that has an actual culture

they seem to be a very distinct hunting society! full with rituals and competitions!
i mean, look at uhh...the reapers for example! they have nothing, they only want to destroy everything again and again because the developers needed an evil force

Yeah, I'm well versed in the Predator and Alien lore
I am trying to give my villains force a culture too since I don't want them to be bland

well, depending on what the villains are, a culture is not necessary required, however what is definitely required is a motive...as villains the reapers are a total fail so far (maybe they reveal their reasons for doing this in part 3, but right now they suck as villains )

Then I definitely have my villain's motives down then, care to hear it since your such a keen observer, though I will keep it brief for you

i'm primarily a painter, so if you are looking for critic of your idea, i don't know if i can help that much, since i'm no writer!
(and you wouldn't believe me when i told you how i handle my revenant story, lol)

I'm always interested in hearing how people handle their stories, so I can handle whatever you say

but don't say i didn't warn you, though!
it's actually pretty simple...i've got nothing written down! everything is in my head, no notes, no nothing until i actually paint it

wow, that's actually how I write my stories, I tend to write them on the fly since I find that planning out a story just makes it go stale in my opinion

there's nothing wrong with planning a story.
my story is planned from beginning to the end aswell, i just don't write it down, simply because my ideas change over time and i'm too lazy to change my notes everytime i get a new idea.
...and i get new ideas all the time!

I should be more specific with my wording then, I do have a general plot planned out, but the rest of the stuff, like with you changes all the time and I like it like that

alecyl In reply to ridleysghost [2011-10-12 02:18:05 +0000 UTC]
the problem with writing is, that stuff is generally described much more detailed as in a comic, such as environment or whatever, which means you gotta keep much more stuff in your head than i have to because once i drew something, i can always quickly look it up while you gotta browse through more and more text as the story progresses!
so i guess if i ever write a book i'd make some notes every now and then to save some time!

Yeah, detailing enviroments or action scenes is quite the challenge for me, but I do try my best, though I still neeed some practice with it
