I like the idea. I've pretty much always liked the idea of a lone tree standing in the middle of it all. ;D I think the colors are pretty suitable as well, so well done there. (:

I would like to point out a few things, though -

I think that the blending of the tree into the grass can be done better. Some shadows at the base of the tree and the grass, for example, so it doesn't look like the tree is 'floating' on top of the grass. You can also use brushes to incorporate the tree into the grass.

Also, try to take note of the stock that you use. The grass stock quality is poorer compared to the sky and the tree, and therefore makes the piece look unnatural.

I feel that the tonal structure of the piece can be improved. For example, darkening various parts of the piece for better dramatic effect.

All in all, it can be improved on, but it's not bad!
