Good stuff! I use Animation Shop Pro cause it comes with Paint Shop Pro. Gimp sounds pretty interesting. I might try it out if I ever dabble again.

I've never used another kind, but Gimp is sooo easy. I don't really like painting with it, but animating is easy and it has some nice filters and effects.

nice I didn't realize gimp had any sort of animation thing within the painting program, I thought you had to load a different program. Well, Now I can do some simple animations. yay! holy cow, there'll be a lot of layers though...
