Description
Why I put Maxie in the chair like I did, it was only because I wanted him to look more mysterius and powerfull... (it's not because I hate to draw him!)
Maxie and Norman resemble each other very much, but that dont mean that the have something in common
Now when you met Courtney, what do you think about her?
And now I've just figured out how to do straight lines (finally) and I thought it would look odd, but it worked well!

The only thing 'wrong' with the line is the word "True" at the end. But I don't know how to explain it without filling up the screen with words...
Basically, as you have probably noticed, the English language has way too many words that mean the same thing.
Anyway, I really am enjoying the Nuzlocke.

Well, don't feel bad for getting it 'wrong', even those of us with English as our first language can't agree on how to speak it properly. (Seriously, the difference between England's English and America's English is astounding.)

Please, please don't do the liar revealed troupe. I know it's tempting, but it's so overplayed.
I can tell Mark just wants a normal life. He just wants a dad who isn't obsessed, and who only sees him as a pawn. He wants a sister, who doesn't treat him with contempt. The way I see it, Mark still believes that there is a peaceful resolution, he just can't find it.
As for Maxie and Norman, their polar opposites.
Norman is a father first, and a gym leader second. Norman cares about Alex, he wants to see her succeed, but he's scared that the world will discover her secret. And when they do, they will make her suffer, like so many other Poke-speakers have. Norman has warned Alex of the danger ahead of her, and it's not to frighten her back home. It's to let her know that there are intolerant people, who would like nothing more than to see her dead. That she needs to be careful of who she trusts, because they may only want her ability, or her death, not her friendship.
Maxie on the other hand, does not care. Both of his children could die tomorrow, if it meant Maxie's goals were achieved. Mark, and Courtney are only pawns, they mean little to nothing to Maxie. Their just a means to an end. Courtney has deluded herself into believing that her father cares more about her, than he actually does. Like I said before, I think Mark still believes his father has good in him. Still Maxie only wants his goals met, and once they are met, he will discard those that helped him reach said goals. Even if the people he discards, happen to be his own children.

Definition of Liar Revealed from T.V. Tropes: Liar Revealed is The Reveal of The Lie, the facade maintained by a protagonist which provides the primary dramatic tension for the plot. This usually sets up the third act where the protagonists are forced to deal with the consequences of the lie on top of any external threats.
The magnitude of the lie is important. It usually involves one or more of the protagonists setting themselves up, intentionally or accidentally, as something they are not, and other characters buying into the lie such that failure of the protagonist to live up to the facade may be disastrous. For example, a main character receives praise for an act of heroism they didn't actually commit, then is put in a position where he will have to repeat his feat to save the day again, only to have their deception revealed just when people are counting on him most. Courtney like I said, has deluded herself. I think that she has done this as a coping mechanism. She feels that if she dulls herself to everything around her, and puts up the false front of tough girl, then she doesn't have to deal with the reality around her. I think that Courtney wants a normal life like her brother, but unlike him, she doesn't have the optimistic view Mark does. I also think that Mark and Courtney's lives were normal before, but something happened. Maybe their mother died, or Maxie stumbled upon some prophecy that drove him to obsession. I'm not sure, but I think that things were normal before, and then everything changed.

I do not know if I've put myself in that situation where there must be like some of that plot? And there are some alternative parts (which is what you described, I think) that I do wouldn't want to use.
But my comic is set mostly just on spontaneous. (but I of course had a basis to go on.
