Description
This is a commission that was completed a week or so ago, to show to an editor. The main character is Jon, currently struggling with alcoholism and creepy demons. I had a lot of fun designing the demon.
18 hours in Photoshop.

I like the symbolism you used here. People might say 'hey, that doesn't look like much of a demon to me!', but the fact that you made it more mechanical in appearance than supernatural is really powerful, since it carries over how demons, if allowed to, can control humans mechanically, like puppets or machines. This poor man's alcoholism has let the demon latch on to him, and while it's not physically there or visible, it's important to know that it is there and it's whats keeping him down, defeated, and broken.
It makes you really pity the character. It's like he's being injected and controlled by the vices of the demon. Its all very creepy, but I'm glad that you drew it.

Thats incredibly insightful...i too found the mech in Demon awesome from the originality in design (your first bike was a demon-business) but you took that and articulated their tacts.
