I read the graphic novels...the story was great, but your gallery of art summed up the events even better than the writing. You did something special, man.

Actually, I have a question;
for something like this do you have to do two seperate digital colorings & then merge them piece by piece to get the effect?
I'm digitally retarded and only work traditional, so I haven't the foggiest.

I painted one rough version and then separated it into two files, finished each file separately, and lastly merged them both together with a puzzle mask. Doing this digitally made it much, MUCH easier than doing it traditionally.

I love, love, love, love LOVE this. It's the perfect depiction of Illyria/Fred in the After the Fall universe, as well as the final season of Angel. On top of that, it's absolutely gorgeous.

This is wonderful. A jigsaw puzzle of Fred/Illyria.
I remember that I was truly astounded when Amy Acker first showed up as Illyria. I couldn't believe how good she was distinguishing Illyria's speech pattern and movement from Fred. I only saddened that they cancelled the series. As much as I love ATF, I still miss Amy Acker as Illyria giving the gang cold stares. Luckily, we'll be able to see Amy again in Joss' new show DOLLHOUSE.
Anyways, I'm rambling. What I really wanted to say was..... Shiny!
