“I admit, I was a little worried, you might not like this place. I thought, ...well...maybe you’d have expected something more fancy, you know. More...uhhmm....stylish.”“You mean, something that suits me better? “Yeah...look..erm...I was wondering if I could ask you something. It’s a bit personal, maybe, but...”
“Wait, Coop, sorry, but I have to interrupt you. Errmm....I have...like...a golden rule, you know, I....on principle, I don’t talk about myself. I’ve...had some bad experiences in the past with giving away too much about me and....and I’ve learned from it. I hope, you can understand that?”
“Of course. I understand. I’ll keep it mind.”
“Really...I mean...we can talk about everything you like. Just that one exemption.”
“Ok, let’s see...hmm...maybe we could talk about the weather then?”, I asked with a gentle grin.
“Ahhrrr...you’re an extremist.“ We both laughed. “There must be something between me and the weather!...Come on, be creative....No, really, any topic you like. I’ve got an opinion about almost everything.”
And that was true.
She had something witty to say to any topic, we touched upon.
But, even though she wanted to avoid to reveal about her personality, she allowed me a good look behind the curtain nonetheless.
The way she talked, like she behaved, her opinions, her attitude. To me she conveyed the picture of a very well educated woman. Open-minded, interested.
And I admit, I hadn’t expected that.
I had fallen for some sort of cliché.
Something she’d cleared up with quickly.

Granted, I was quite happy about the pose, I managed to give her. Not so shabby at all.
She stops him halfway down his question, because I wanted to let her keep the distance for a little longer thus giving more room for what comes later with his description about his job and her reaction to it.
His astonishment is certainly based on what I hinted on with the remark about clichès. It should not be forgotten that all he knows about her comes from two instances, one being the arrest in Bonnies night out and following that their short encounter in the mall the day before. So all in all, he knows very little about her.
However, I’ll like include more about her background at a later point in time, when the occasion arises. (And if I still believe, what I thought out is believable and making sense )

I’m also still curious about her background.
I have a clear imagination as to what she did before she started with this extravagant occupation, but I need to figure out, how and when to include this part of her.

She's so much in control! This doesn't change bit. She gave him a lead: Talk about yourself. I'm sure there is a question both have in mind for the other: "How did you come to work in your field?"
Now Coop you better entertain her with your conversation. She wants to know more, give her more.

She’s answered the question already by telling him her rules and he is kind and clever enough to respect her plea. I’m sure he knows that he’s not gaining anything by asking nonetheless.
For his personal details, I just think, he’s waiting for her to ask him thus showing the sign of interest he needs to open up. I don’t believe he’d be taking the risk to bore her with something, she doesn’t want to know.

Bonnie reminds me intensly of a woman I met a couple of years ago in Vienna. As much as I was involved in the topic of BDSM and the philosophy of the story-of-O, I didn´t realize that she was kinda real sex-slave of a powerful and rich man. She really could hide it perfectly and for a number of meetings, even towards me....and she was blond and tall and beautiful as Bonnie...god, time `s running....
