i can't stop seeing this as a free reinterpretation of the Final Boss Battle at the End of Chronno Trigger. the massive creature in a distant out of this world scenary, the carrier of the light, the overall mood...
even the name its name plays with my mind.

Really nice the animation is simplistic but it's expected for this type of detail in a painting/animation. The one thing I would suggest is if you're going to have the back teeth moving then the front should be moving as well maybe spinning slowly in the opposite direction or an letting out air motion. But it is hard to pull of such a thing and still have the atmosphere of the original piece you created so keep that in mind as well.
You want to find the sweet spot between the atmosphere of the animation and the detail you created in the piece, because lets face it the main appeal of your paintings is the high amount of detail you put into them.

Pretty good. One thing I would say, is it'd be nice if the zoomed out version of the glow had some slight animation, like some small gradient or flicker that only affects the glow on his stick.
