I bowed to the horned god, asking it for passage,
For in this city of the ancients, where time stood still,
any travelers that steered from the path, were known to have been consumed by the invisible demons... their hair falling out, possibly from the horror of what they've seen.
Here, even in spring, autumn and winter persisted- some trees leaf-less and some eternally orange in their colors, a strange and wondrous sight.

The bull reminds me of that old way of killing people.
Putting them in a bronze bull with a horn in it and cooking them alive in it.
Making their screams sound like a bulls roar.

It's travelled across 3 computers and has been in use on 4 different operating systems.
I still love it. And everytime someone walks past my laptop or computer they always stop and stare at it for a minute and try to work out what's going on. XD

Post nuclear war, Wall Street's Charging Bull standing guard like an ancient god (and it is worshipped, people rubbing its nose and horns and balls for good luck) over a city ravaged by radiation...
A beautiful image, the way the trees almost seem to be burning; that impenetrable divide between a past like the present and a present like the past... The Bull is a brilliant touch- such a story right there!
