Description WANT MORE DELICIOUS ARTS? READ ROMANTICALLY APOCALYPTIC [link]

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I bowed to the horned god, asking it for passage,
For in this city of the ancients, where time stood still,
any travelers that steered from the path, were known to have been consumed by the invisible demons... their hair falling out, possibly from the horror of what they've seen.
Here, even in spring, autumn and winter persisted- some trees leaf-less and some eternally orange in their colors, a strange and wondrous sight.
Have you ever read the short story "By the Waters of Babylon?" I forget who wrote it, but this looks like an illustration of that story.
Nice story! I like how you allude to radiation poisoning and to the Golden Calf Idol from the story of Exodus. I'm glad that in a post apocalyptic world you see humanity's survivors wearing capes.
leaning buildings do make the perspective messed up
Lakkae In reply to alexiuss [2008-01-07 18:42:18 +0000 UTC]
don't take it personally, it just didnt go as good as USUALLY.
its just that the way were lookng at the picture, those rooftops/etc wouldnt show as they do know, but maybe you'll hit the perfect pin next time
Not saying that its bad, just not the best of you from looking at perspective
That is just amazing! It somewhat reminds me of a book I just got done reading by Alan Weisman called; "The world without us." which tells about the slow decay of New York city in the chapter; "The city without us." yet unlike the image above there are no more humans on the Earth anymore.
