Description
Since starting the Senya comic I have introduced a number of new units and ranks to the Alorian army, and I thought it was time to collect them all into a series of new character line ups! I fixed up some of the older designs (some going back as far as 2014) and added a few new characters that I look forward to using in future images and comic pages. The Alorian military is an all powerful force that rules the majority of the known universe with an iron fist. Their core of their strength lies in the Navy and Army branches, featured in this first image.

NAVY
The navy commands the space around the empire's systems with fifteen fleets, each consisting of thousands of battleships and carriers. With their larger ships equipped with slip-space technology and the most advanced weaponry, the navy's speed and firepower is unmatched. They are tasked with guarding the empire's vast borders, transporting army legions (and providing orbital fire support), as well as protecting the vital slip-space gates that connect the systems of the Empire (curial for trade and commerce). There are fifteen Admirals, each controlling an entire fleet of ships from their Armada class battleships. Commodores command carrier groups or special task forces. Captains command a single ship, and have hundreds of officers serving under them. Fighter pilots (flight officers) are the elite of the Alorian space forces, and engage in both space and air combat missions. Speeder pilots operate at low altitude (within a planet's atmosphere), supporting ground troops and mechanized units. Cadets (ranging from recruits to petty officers) make up the bulk of the Naval forces. Crews range from 5000 personel on an interceptor class vessel, up to 65,000 on a Naval carrier.

ARMY
The army is the second fist of the military's might, and are responsible for maintaing order and obedience on the hundreds of worlds that make up the Alorian empire. Made up of over one billion soldiers, the army is divided into twenty divisions, each of which is lead by a high commander. Generals typically control operations on a single planet, with tens of thousands of officers loyal to them. The imperial trooper is the most common of all military personel, and are divided into legions of 5000 soldiers. The shiny grey uniform of the trooper is a ubiquitous sight on imperial worlds, and citizens have learned to live with their often oppressive tactics. Helmets and blasters are used on combat missions and dangerous patrols, while swords and spears are used inside cities and bases (with blaster suppression fields). The Cadet uniform is worn by all imperials in their first year of training, until they are moved on to their designated branch. Finally, the off duty uniform is a comfortable jump suit designed for relaxation and sleeping.
