Some quick photoshop color tests for two of my character designs. For the enemy troopers I tried various combinations of a red/white/black color scheme, and for the hero I wanted something that would stand out from (and not clash with) the soldiers. Any feedback would be appreciated.Related content

I like #1 for the hero best. That orange just stands out to me. For the trooper I like #2, specifically because the black torso is kind of "opposite" to most of the hero designs, which are generally lighter or colored.

For the enemy I like #7 the best...for the hero I like #2 and #6...Idk why, but blue screams "hero" to me. >.>; They all look very nice though! ^.^

So, not that I know what I'm talking about, but I reckon you'd want to keep them from overlapping color-wise, so I reckon hero 1, 2 and 5 are the most different looking and interesting color combos.
As for the baddies, 6 and 7 just speak to me. But then again, I AM a sucker for red and black.
The trooper uniforms are cool but they need intimidating helmets.

i like 2, 4 and 6 for the heroine, and 7 for the enemy. although for hero suit 4, if you added leggings the same blue as the stripe on the sleeve it might look good, too.

for the heroine i like the colors of 3 but like the full bodysuit design of 6 & 7 (as opposed to the one piece swim suit of 3, 4, & 5). i would suggest taking the black of the bodysuit on #3 just covering the rest of the skin with it. you could put an orange stripe down the side or something to bring the warm color down her body a little too.
for the enemy i do like the colors on #6, but might i suggest making the hair a deep red or even black perhaps?

If I may be so bold, I think numbers 1, 2 and 6 look best for the heroine, and numbers 2 and 6 look best for enemy. Curious to see what you do with these designs!

I'd have to say my favorites, after a gut-reaction look, are No. 4 on the top row and No. 7 on the bottom row. My first impulse is the No. 4 would make a good hero outfit. If she's a lone fighter, she might want something that helps her blend into the shadows a bit. No. 7 strikes me as a strong symbol of authority; the sort of outfit worn by a bodyguard or police officer. I like the overall design of the outfit.

Personnellement mes préférences vont au costume 6 pour l'héroïne
et pour les ennemies je trouve que les 5 et 6 sont les meilleurs en
terme de cohésion des couleurs.
