Dinosaurs. So many dinosaurs.

First things first, thank you to everyone for giving me feedback on character colors in my last post! Your picks made interesting trends and your feedback was extremely thoughtful and I very much appreciate all of it!
For Boom, I ultimately went with the most colorful option because he is such a tiny character and really needs extra pop to draw attention to him.
For uh... good old Dingle here (PYRO FORCED ME TO NAME HIM THAT) I chose the purple badger-y option because I did not want him to be obviously evil like the red option kind of conveyed. He's a misunderstood antagonist, not really ruthless, and people made a good point that red is a little too aggressive of a color.
For Hush... I couldn't really choose. She couldn't be blue because Boom has blue on him, but I didn't want her too dark because Ding is dark. SO I kinda mushed designs 1 & 3 from the sheet together. She kinda looks like a cappuccino now.
Other characters to add to the mix are Whinny the grammy-rex. She's old, worn out, and just wants to help folks because she's too old to care about predatory hierarchy anymore. Also I'm playing on the concept that tyrannosaurus was actually a scavenger (at least the theories) and her age, so she wouldn't have intense interest in eating Hush because she'd be too strong for her and also not already dead. Hush still isn't a fan of her, though.
Then there are the minions. Ding has a hoard of them, like a couple hundred kind of hoard. He protects them and loves them in exchange for them helping him collect the resources he needs. One tiny rat-thing isn't helpful, but when you have a massive wave of them... they are alphadon, which was a primitive mammal at the time.

Sorry for the icky watermarks. I'm pitching this as a contest entry in addition to it being for my Conceptual Illustration class so I don't wanna risk people stealing them for some reason. Not that I think anyone would.
So YES. To clarify for those curious, this is not a new story I'm doing at least not technically. It is a pitch. I will be putting together 12 pages and it'll end there. Unless I win, of course. Which isn't likely. But it would be a dream come true.

Quick fun fact: all animals in this story are selected from the Cretaceous era (the period as a whole, not select time-frames) strictly in North America. This is why Boom isn't a velociraptor: cause that species lived in Asia!
Leading off of that, Ding was originally a therizinosaurus. I misread/mixed up information on the species and thought it also came from North America only to realize they were exclusively found in Asia as well. But then I ran across Nothronychus! Which is literally almost the same species and found in North America! A lucky save.
Pyro is making me call the story "Boom and the Doomsday Debacle"

Now to figure out everything else...
ALSO I WISH I COULD DO NICE TURNAROUNDS LIKE THIS FOR MY NORMAL CHARACTERS. THAT WOULD BE GREAT.
