A page actually technically on time since the last page was posted on New Years! Ahaha! Now to just wiggle back to my weekend schedule...
Transitional/emotional page again. Also a page with a practical function. Canon design changes? Yes, hello. I forgot who it was who suggested that the pink stripes be temporary but... I went with it. Hurrah! I'm glad to be rid of those stripes. They were barely noticed half the time, which I think is why I hated them. Took too much time to put them in only to barely be readable. I admit, I am going to miss her cotton candy hair a little bit though...Β
But that's also not the entire purpose of this page. The next few scenes are going to give a couple smaller hints on some Ambivian culture. Nothing large, but just a little thing or two. Don't expect a whole lot, though, or you'll be disappointed.
You know what's the funny thing about this scene? Originally it was scripted to be Federico, not Kailani. I suppose fangirls will just have to wait for that one~

Haha, she doesn't. I think the only other time she held her tail was during the car scene, and that was just a nervous habit.
And that depends on what you mean. All Ambivians are Ambivians through and through, but they have mixed breeding, similar to how, say, there are different races of people. This is why some Ambivians like Tanner favor more Foxy-like and others like Jacky look a bit more Rabbit-y. They are NOT rabbits and foxes, of course, but the way their ears and such define their features. There are actually specific factors in ear/tail combos that define a "mix" versus a "purebred".
Kailani (and Garin and Zamora) are the only real "mix breeds" in terms of being hybrids, as they are Ambivian/Lanive crosses.

I suppose it depends on whatcha mean by Roleplay! If you mean just making characters and playing around with a couple other folk in the world I wouldn't mind. I don't want, like, a large forum-type roleplay or anything though. I think. I'm not sure cause I'm not too into roleplays so I don't know a whole lot about them! So maybe tell me what you mean? C:

Oh! And Kailani is an Ambivian/Lanive hybrid (Lanive being a species I need to actually illustrate on here... but it's similar to Lanians, which I have posted before). So I guess that means she's a... Lanivian?? Sure! Let's roll with that!
Ahh, yes, I can't remember precisely the last comment but it was of a similar conversation we had awhile back I think. Some of your comments come out a bit rude and I admit they hurt my feelings a lot. Usually I don't mind them, they irk me sometimes (like how this comment you mentioned waiting "a long time" for the page when this page actually updated on time which is bi-weekly so every-other week) but I only recall that the last comment was nothing but hurtful remarks about how slow I am at updating and I didn't find it funny. Granted, I meant to actually unhide the comment later (I only hid it at the time cause it upset me) but I left it hidden anyway. I'm perfectly content with critique, but the comment didn't feel constructive, it just felt mocking. I understand you don't mean anything by it, which is why I just decided to hide the comment instead of replying to it, but I don't honestly like them. It's okay to be upset at the length of time it takes me to update, but constantly having it shoved in my face doesn't constructively help or motivate me to update faster. It just makes me feel worse about it, especially when the update is actually on time for once. If that makes sense?

Ah I see. I apologize still for making rude comments. It's just that, to me especially, it feels so long for you to put up the art work. I know it takes time so I just tried making a funny sketch on that last comment. Not a comedian, so it's easy to take it as hurtfull words. Plus by replying to it I would've known that I was being too hurtfull. So again I'm sorry. I'm usually the type who just says, "You have your opinion and I have mine and I respect your way aswell. But if you have a problem with my opinion then you gotta deal with me." You make a great comic and I honestly respect that. And I honestly adore this comic aswell. But as a person who is always waiting for the next page, episode, etc. Even when it's on time, the time I spent waiting feels a lot longer.
Plus, I am usually the type who honestly becomes a wreck the moment I get a job or assingment that has a time limit. I try to stick to it and every little thing that goes wrong honestly makes me go crazy. You should've seen me when on 1 assingment, I broke one of the cast feathers of that project. First I go all mad and yell at everyone, just complaing about the problem, then I'm still mad but I put on a smile that anyone can tell is that I'm just trying to hide my anger. And at the same time I go to like lunatic style angry, laughing and so on. Then the last phase is that I go desperate like I don't have many option on how to fix it and every way feels like it's gonna fail. So yeah I am truly sorry about that comment. I'll make it up to you in some way. And, I am sorry x 100.

It's quite alright if you feel impatient about pages coming out, I just don't want to hear it, especially when I actually successfully get a page on schedule. It's about as bad as people asking "When's the next page?" a couple days after posting one up. I unfortunately do art as a job and as a student so I spend too much time drawing other things that I'm often unable to draw for myself as often as I'd like... so comic slips up a lot sometimes and falls off schedule due to that (like right now I'm illustrating a 24 page children's book and that's been taking up a buuuunch of my time - 3 month's worth to be precise - so I barely have had time to work on the next page at all!)
But it's quite fine and I forgive you. If I get upset at anything again I'll be sure to tell you.

P.S. The next mini manga I was gonna do... I just can't get a start to it TT^TT So I'll be making sure to inform you once it's done. Then you get to rant on how long it took me to make 20 pages of a manga that I could've done with a solid idea. In just a month XD

If you wanted to make it more obvious, you could have the pink dripping off the hair and possibly add the dye going down the drain, but you don't need it.
