Oh, and the guy to the far right in the first panel, I named him Efron. Cause I was trying to make his hair look like Zac Efron (who I lawl at) back in page 20. But I failed. Sad face.

The males only had roses just as a way to better organize them between the females. Basically apart of the organizing system.
Selectors:
Female - clothing pin
Male - rose with stem
Selectees:
Female - nothing
Male - just rose

To be honest though, I didn't put a lot of thought into the rose concept as I should have. It was sort of a spontaneous thing, so unfortunately that was a mistake on my part that turns out to be kinda irrelevant.

Roses are a pan I noticed. Very tricky to get tem to look like... well... roses!
It seems when you make deadlines it actually helps. Unless you're one to hate deadlines. But you have to find a good deadline that's easy for you so doing the pages doesn't seem like a chore.

Hmmm, the drama and tension are building as we await the appearance of Federico...
I find all the characters beautifully drawn colored and shaded! Lots of nice little details and whiskers abound! At least the general mood of the crowd seems happy to be meeting their future spouses... =^^=
Hmmm, the white flower, in your prequel Kailini was listed as a mixed-breed, and she's to wed an off-worlder. I'm thinking something to do with the diplomatic corps.

Steve in supply ordered the flowers too late as the ceremony took a huge toll on the local florists, perhaps also coupled with a late season? So he had toilet paper folded into the desired shapes... The kitchen staff had run out of the appropriate food coloring, and even if crayons would have worked on the fragile tissue, the kits had eaten everything of the appropriate hue!
Steve is in a lot of trouble!

The Boss: Riiight, I'll just pull that cash right out of my tail here. Besides the only bulk sunglasses are all grey. It would look like a giant dust bunny was cuddling their chest!
Steve: We could use the colored stage lighting to make sure that everything gets tinted the right color...
The Boss: And that would turn the queen what color?
Steve: I'll just be hiding in the storm cellar.

Now I can imagine one of two things happening.
Act 1:
Tanner: *sniffs flower* What the-- this thing smells like... like...
Brandon: Like a disposable plumbing fixture.
Tanner: I was going to say toilet but sure, that too.
Act 2:
Tanner: *wearing the glasses* HOLY CREATOR THERE'S A RABID HAMSTER ON YOUR CHEST BRANDON!
Brandon: No it's not-- *gets beaten on by a giant plastic bat*
Tanner: HOLD STILL I ALMOST GOT IT! OH SPIRITS THERE'S ONE ON ME! GET IT OFF GET IT OFF! *runs around room screaming hysterically about rabid hamsters*
Everyone else noticed they too all have "rabid hamsters" on their chests and commence beating one another in attempts to rid them. As a result several stainglass windows are broken and curtains are caught on fire. Ending in a very bad outcome for the entire Royal Palace.
Tanner: *standing outside watching the flames* *turns to Brandon* Look what you did.

All these background characters and pretty colors are AMAZING. AHH.
And I just noticed something. Ambivian females seem to always have human-style hair, while the males just have floofy head fluff (except Garin who's an Ambivian/Lanian mix so therefore gets the hair from his Lanian side). Why did I only just notice this?
One of these days I'm gonna finish my art requests, and then I'll be able to do a whole bombardment of fanart for Filly I've been wanting to make for a veeerrry long time. And people can't yell at me for working on other things if I don't owe them stuff. O<
