Description
Each was done in 10-12 minutes in PhotoshopSo I've been seeing a lot of speed paintings around the internet lately, and since I've never done one before I thought I'd give it a go. The one on the left was my first (I was still getting my bearings for what to do, so please forgive the huge perspective mistakes
I had a lot of fun making these, so I think I'll do more speed paintings in the future... anyway, tell me what you think

I think the one on the left is absolutely incredible, it could be presented as a piece itself!

Great texture and use of color and contrast on both, I definitely would never have guessed they took you so little time.
The brush work on the rocks on the right painting are very well done.

both are very nice and without your description I would have not guessed that they were your first 2 attempts. Especially for the Amount of time it took, I don't think I could do it that fast, I'd start obsessing over the details....lol

I think these are really good. I've never done speed painting, and I don't think I could. If you were able to make something this good in a short amount of time, you must be pretty amazing! GO you!

I've ALWAYS loved these fantasy images of just epic landscapes. I remeber when I was younger I had a whole bunch of these small books that were filled with pictures like this. The only one that I still have is all about Rodney Matthews.
Out of interest how do you get inspiration for these? Because I can only imagine its hard to come up with something then be able to put that onto paper, or, compy program.

Thanks, I just made some random brush strokes and then filled in the rest with my imagination. But your right I usually spend a lot more time coming up with the idea than I do making the piece, stupid artists block

Extremely impressive in such a small amount of time. But I must say Iβm more attracted to the blue piece on the right. The composition of how everything stands lures the viewers to the extreme lightness in the back. Itβs like a electric explosion.
