This is a brilliant display of your ability to create life, there is a warmth and a suppleness to the skin and incredible depth and brightness in the eyes. The small details of the freckles and moles, and the fullness of the hair are all very strong additions.

Wow!!!! I find this very moody. That is what I am trying to do too. Finishing traditional sketches with digital brushes. I would like to see the old sketch as well and know how you made this.

Thanks, it was a digital sketch actually [link] so I can't help in that area. As for the painting process itself, I use the same techniques taught in most tutorials, as well as making heavy use of a few custom brushes and custom blending tools I created to give it the illusion of detail.
