Materials used:
0.5 mechanical pencil, and a sheet of plain printer paper
No smudging used (I don't have one of those smudge stick things, so I just made a lot of really small lines for the shading
)Contrast added using PS7
I started this two weeks ago... but with homework and stuff I wasn't working on it much, so It probably took me about 4-6 hours..

I've never been able to really understand him throughout the whole series lol he keeps surprising me

Great details throughout, the only thing really missing is some highlights, a lot of the face exists on the same value scale but you have enough subtle tones to make the curvature and ridges realistic. Highlights would pop them out some more.
I can't give you enough love for the hair though. It's perfect

The shadows of the brow over the eyes...I haven't noticed anyone do that before.

His left ear is shorter than the right.

His left nostril is also higher than the other, and the ear thing is just because of the angle his head is turned. I didn't want to ignore imperfections in his face because of vanity.... seems silly.
Please take a look at the Photo reference I've linked in the description and you'll see that the shadow under the eye, the ear thing, and nose are just as I drew it.

Yeah, pretty much, I had a feeling the nose was from the ref. It's funny, his head doesn't look turned, which is why I commented on the ear, but it's the same as the ref. He's a weird looking bloke, but still sexy. You did an excellent job!

It is simply awesome... and I'll admit I'm a Sylar fan girl...
I like how you didn't smudge though, but it must have been a little more time consuming considering you used small lines for the shadows.
Still that's great and I really like how it is, giving it, or rather not using the darknest of the dark and the lightest of the light captures a different mood for the drawing, it's kinda like nostalgic.

Great work!!! Wow...I tried drawing Noah once from a pic of him...didn't turn out exactly the way I had wanted so I scrapped it XD. But, wow...I'm loving Sylar more and more, so I think my next attempt will be a Sylar O_O.

Really unique style of shading. Very similar to mine it turns out. Also great attention to detail on the hair. There are some swirls in there that are tremendous.
