He is... and I love Karl Urban. I've been a fan of his since his days in LOTR and I got to meet him a couple of years ago at a convention. He's very nice and down-to-earth, just like I had imagined.

Actually, McCoy is from the Original series era, before the New Generation era.
The Doctors of the New Generation era are Beverly Crusher, Julian Bashir and the Holographic Doctor.

I know it seems odd to reply so late after you commented but are you serious?! Don't you give me a lesson on which doctor belongs to which era when I started watching the original series about 35 years ago, probably before you were even born...
And if you want to be that picky, then the new McKoy, Kirk and Spock are indeed a new generation onto themselves because even though they're the same characters, their history and stories are slightly different and way they've been presented to us is somehow fresh and feels new to a certain point. Besides, what else are we going to call them in order to differentiate them from the original ones? I certainly wasn't going to use something as awkward as "The Alternate Version"...

I watch Next Generation and haven't seen McCoy in any episodes. Your drawing is awesome, but I'm confused too (like GokuMartin) why you didn't write Original series instead. I'm starting to get into the Original so I know who the characters all are
