Description
Part one of three to the Basics of Anthropomorphic characters... the title was too long so I kept it simple...This simply covers the basics of how I create a face for an Anthro character, the same way as always and I usually do the head first anyway
The full body construction will come in part two of a Three-Part guide into my dominant style of drawing!
As said on the deviation itself, I'd love to see what you do with this tutorial, so please send me links to pics that this may have helped you to build

This was done entirely in PS7 with my WACOM Graphire4 and about three hours worth of scribbling

this is a good tutorial and if you want to see one of my little furry friends,go to my gallery it's my featured submission and i messed up on the head a couple of times i just decided to turn it into a fox LOL!! well keep making more of these tutorials ^_^

I noticed that you use a 'band' to define the eye area...never seen that before. Have to give it a try.

Yeah, I'm still trying to define facial aspects... I've changed eye construction more times than I can count... trying to come up with a new one for the advanced tutorial

Give it a try, no matter how bad a picture is, I only ever give contructive critism, if not, I keep my mouth shut.. so If you recieve no comment from me, then I hated it
