Why SOS ?:
Both of her parents are musicians, so naturally she's been exposed to music ever since birth. She loves to sing anywhere at any time and would sing if anyone asks her to. She's in that group of musicians you see in schools who'd sing and play their instruments during breaks or after school. You'd also often find her in karaokes singing all genres of songs, from ballad to hip hop.
K-pop was rising at the time and eventually people her age started listening to and fawn over Korean idols. Time and time again her friends would encourage her to audition for an entertainment agency in Korea, but brushed it off every time because she didn't think she has the personality or potential to be an idol and it'd only be a waste of time. However, she ended up losing a bet with a friend and said friend signed her up for an audition at SOS. Since there was no turning back now, she might as well give it her best shot. Her parents are of course very supportive of the idea, albeit a little worried like any parent would when their child is living away from them.
When asked why she wants to be an idol, it left her dazed for a moment since she was only here because of a bet. After recollecting herself, she replied that she wants to spread happy vibes with others and hope to cheer others up with her performance. She was confident in making others happy since she was often told so at school. Hence, she would like to spread happiness to a bigger audience.

Xing is a best described as an amiable person realistic person because she's always seen smiling so others find her easy to get along with. She isconsiderate of how others feel and would be careful to not inconvenience others. Hence, she has the tendency to look after others as well. Although she may seem like a ditz, she is meticulous in her work and doesn't miss a single detail. She wants to only show her best work and won't compromise for less. Xing is also eloquent when presenting or when coaxing others to get what she wants, despite only learning Korean for a few years. She generally has an open and optimistic view on life - taking it on headstrong!
On the other hand, she can be quite clumsy when handling an object. She'd end up dropping it or even break it when touching. She is also considered to be single-minded because she can only concentrate on one thing and can't multitask. Asking her where to eat or what she wants would be a bad idea because of how indecisive she is.
