I always felt scared watching my snake eat big rats, coz I always worry of the limits to this eating mechanism, like, when will they break???

Yeah it's pretty crazy to watch! I'm sure there is some limit to it but I suspect (hope???) that they'd just be unable to swallow the prey and would spit it back out before the jaws reach their breaking point.
