This is absolutely wonderful!!
Try taking a photograph with more even lighting - you can't really see the full effect of the gold in the images on your site. It must look amazing in real life

I would love to see you drawing this, I'm so curious, how do you manage not to get lost in such a huge amount of details. You're really talented

Thank you
I always start with a strong under-drawing. It keeps me grounded and a lot of important decisions are made when I can still erase any mistakes. I tend to ink an inch at a time starting from a corner so it doesn't feel very detailed until I step back to look at it. Squinting from time to time helps too.

Thanks!
It was hard at first but I got the hang of it. I probably should have looked for a better tutorial.
Since they were all dealing with frames and paintings I had to figure out the hard way that gold leaf doesn't only stick to glue but also to ink. You have to gild everything before inking. And stay out of the heat or the glue will warp!
Funnily enough it's more nerve-wracking than inking since it's all timed. Nerve-wracking but fun
