I wonder if you know of Takato Yamamoto. If you dont, then you should definetly check him out. I personally think your art style reminds me of his.

I have been acquainted with his work for a while. Most of it is too scary or gross or perverse for me. But some of his pleasant works are very pretty. So thanks!

Sorry for the late reply. Ah yea, Ive heard the many opinions in regards to his work, so I understand your point of view. I find his technique and attention to detail very precise and clean. His idea of mixing in different techniques/textures in order to fill negative space is quite original. Sadly, I wish I was born before him and took up art as his style is the style that I always saw myself driven towards oh well.

Being born after someone is more interesting than being born before. There are new things under the sun to be made.

This is disastrously beautiful! That doesn't really make a lot of sense, but it's the first thing I thought upon seeing the picture. Really, this is amazing. I'll be printing this off, coloring in the gold, and putting it on my wall.

If only the glass were not so reflective. I can't figure out a way to take a proper picture without taking off the frame. Here is a partial shot that will have to do for now: [link]

With the scan next to the photo and a little imagination it will do for me. The scan really does not do this pice justice. Thank you for showing me. It would be amazing to have a wall in a home done like this it's really goregeous!

Same stuff a lot of comics are done in, dip pens. I'm sure I would be boring until my cat tries to sit on my artwork or I almost spill my coffee

Before I adore this piece with typical compliments, I have to ask some questions first, if I may ask.
-How long did this commission take you?
-What were you thinking of? (When people draw pieces like these they always have something in mind.)
-Do you like your work? You should.
Now then, absolutely fantastic work here, I sound like everyone else. But really, this is phenomenal behind speech and thought. Thank you.

Wow, this is really impressing. There is so much detail and the gold ink beatifully contrasts with the black ink. The best traditional work I've seen.

That's a lot of work to end up skimping on the face. Would be a good deal cooler if it were more than just a pentagon and a few triangles. Other than the face, it's a really cool piece.
