What a fascinating map! Especially a very interesting style to do water - Kind of makes it look quite dangerous... a Bit like fire. Also I love how unique you made the cities and the signs around the map, which do make it look like a real old map. Very inspiring! I love it!

Excellent texture and detailing... love the individual abstract feel to it all. What is the original size of the piece?

i love it but i have to admit the swirl water is a neat effect but makes it hard to follow the coastlines

I'll take that into consideration. I have been musing over the look of the coastlines. I think they look better when printed very large, but become difficult to see when small. Thank you

This novel of the world of Malar looks totally epic, I'd be first to pick it up from the local bookstore f it ever gets printed.

A beautiful piece of traditional artwork, but still lots of room of improvement on the cartographical side. A sincere congratulation on the DD nevertheless.

I'm not making a real world map, so the ability to read the map took a back seat. And thanks

I like how the sea serpent blends in with the waves making it kind of half hidden.

I can see where people are coming from when they say that the water possibly distracts too much from the land. That said, the effect is so unusual and lovely that I don't really think it's a problem -- if anything it gives the map it's own unique feeling! This picture is wonderful, and I love it
