Hello my fellow art buddy! I wanted to leave a random comment on a talented artist and I stumbled across your work. Ho. Ly. Crap. Your linework is ridiculous. The amount of detail you're able to produce in black and white is staggering, but also inspirational. The fact that you did this traditionally shows just how talented some people are, and the more you look at your work the more details seem to emerge. HOW do you have the patience to finish all that detail?

It's easier when you can't erase since there's no way to have less done than the day before. Ever hour you have pen to paper you're closer to the finish line. That helps my patience a good deal.

GOSH I LOVE HOW YOU USE NEGATIVE SPACE!! It really helps to pop out that character, and sell the story of the image. It is so beautiful - and the thin line weights work really well in this composition. And you created enough variety to pop forward what you needed to pop forward.
Seriously, when I get the free time, I am coloring one of your pieces.
