Viola wasn't usually seen with emotions, but even she couldn't pretend it didn't hurt when she was beat and left to bleed out on the side of a road. It wasn't her fault she was small and poor and unwanted. The big black bug eyes unnerved people in the city, and they simply wanted the creepy girl who roamed the streets stealing thing with her sisters gone forever. Making a wish, it seemed to good to be true, yet here was this entrancing man, telling her that it was as simple as her asking for it. So she did, all she wanted, more than anything, was for people to not want to hurt her. And he granted it. She wasn't expecting what would happen though. Her teeth grew jagged and wings sharp as blades. If no one was warded off by that, and tried to attack anyway, one drop of blood would put Viola into a frenzy of sorts. Once she'd taken a bite out of a certain man (see history), she ran back to the circus and asked if there was anyplace a monster like her could stay. Good thing that the circus could use a new freak.

Personality: Viola use to be rather meek and nervous when talking to people, due to years of being beat for being a thief. She would do almost anything to get away from a conversation, and had a small stutter when frightened.After the wish, Viola remained quiet. However, now her quietness is matched with a hollow voice, and an un-interested stare. She seems like she couldn't care less on the outside, and can be irritated by those more hyper performers. But, unknown to anyone, she does really enjoy company, it just has to be someone who appreciates the quiet like she does, someone who can have a nice conversation.

Viola was born into a poor family, with 4 other children. As a scatterbug, Viola was rather curious about what was outside their small apartment, but the only time she was allowed out was when he eldest brother Victor took all the kids out to the nearby park. Those were very happy times, playing with her sisters while their brother watched over from a bench.

That couldn't last though, after Victor evolved into a vivillon he decided he could find a few places to work and bring some money into the house. The other patrons in the building got annoyed and eventually complained to the management. It was the final straw, after all, the manager was already letting them stay despite them being late for payments almost every time it was due. He told Viola's parents that they had to leave within a week. This left the family distraught and without a place to live. All of a sudden they were homeless, and that's how most of the children grew up. Victor started working even harder, and eventually was able to pay for a new apartment. But, it was only big enough for him and his new girlfriend, he still sent a small amount of money to his parents though, and checked up on his little sisters everyday.

Viola grew up, evolved into a vivillion, and her and her sisters started to take matters into their own hands, stealing food and money when possible, but it didn't last long. The trio of vivillion were known in the city, and if possible most citizens would trap them in alley ways and other hidden spots and beat them. This happened weekly, and they just continued doing it anyway, they needed the money. Viola was the only one to get away after they tried to steal from a rich battler in the city. She couldn't face her parents after that, and didn't return to the alley that they were living in.

Not knowing what to do, she wandered through the city. When she overheard a couple saying what a great time they'd had at a circus that had appeared last night. Viola was intrigued, she'd read about circuses, and they'd always seemed like a fun place. It had been so long since Viola had actually had any fun. She pulled out the small amount of change she had left and went to the circus. Each thing she saw amazed her, and she was particularly entranced with the sword eater and knife thrower. Viola finished off her trip by swiping some cotton candy and heading home, the pain of losing her sisters hadn't disappeared, but it was clouded by the majestic scenery of the circus. While walking, Viola ran into a tall man, nervous that maybe he'd seen her take the cotton candy, she tried to walk past him. Only... He said something that made her stop.

"You seem down my dear. Anything I can do to help..?"

Viola was shocked, no one had ever offered to give her help, she turned to face him, wings fluttering nervously, "I..I-I don't think so.."

"You don't have a wish? Anything you want, I could make it yours.." The man grinned widely.

"Anything?" Viola repeated, " I-I'm tired of getting hurt.. I need to become someone who no ones wants to hurt.."

She didn't even see the man leave, but she heard him say, "Anything you want.."

Viola shook her head, he was obviously crazy. She found an almost safe looking alley and settled down to sleep for the night. When she woke up, her mouth felt stretched and her wings were so stiff, it was clear that something hadn't agreed with her at the circus. She got up, and was greeted by the man that had taken her sisters. His eyes went from angry, to scared however when she opened her mouth to try and barter for her life. Still he came after her though, she turned to run, and he stopped. Viola looked back, and the smell of blood hit her hard. She'd never wanted anything more in her life. He was clutching his bleeding hand in his fist, it seemed that he'd tried to grab Viola's wing. It was only a few minutes, but to Viola it seemed so much longer. She stumbled out of the alley, wiping blood off her mouth, eyes wide with panic. Viola went back to the circus, trying to find the man. When she did, she begged him to give her a place in the circus, she was a monster and couldn't be left alone in the city.

Once she joined the circus, she found that as long as she stayed within it that only the blood of feral pokemon would set her off, but the blood of other circus dwellers still made her uncomfortable hungry...

Likes: Reading by candlelight, watching dangerous acts, walking through the circus after her show, cotton candy, playing chess or other board games, soft places to sit, taking midday naps, when people leave the area if they get cut.

Dislikes: popcorn, the amount of dresses she has to wash thanks to her job, getting blood out of her wings, guests throwing things at her during a performance, she's already pretty messed up because of the blood and squirming creatures caught in her hands, she doesn't need messing sticky drinks in her hair too.
