It’s a new Brain Matter! And it’s the biggest one I’ve done!
I was in a bit of a mental rough patch when I started making this. I was trying to force myself to work on it a few times. I had even considered the idea of leaving some of it as a black silhouette, but I felt that was more self doubt talking and not really an artistic choice. (I haven’t ruled out trying that idea with a future Brain Matter piece, though. I would much rather do it deliberately than out of a lack of motivation.) But I simultaneously went easy on myself that this doesn’t have to have any strict order to it. I mean, that’s the whole shtick. The more random it is - the more questions the randomness generates for the viewer - the better.
