Hey! First marker sketch of 2019!
Despite my old Transmetal Megs succumbing to the effects of "gold plastic syndrome" some years ago, he still was able to serve as reference for this sketch. I wasn't 100% sure if I was wanting to even color this with markers, but after watching friend and fellow artist Alex'e Brewer do a little livestream on her Twitch channel yesterday (the 3rd), that's when I knew it had to bust out the markers. I did decide it'd be best to hold off until the following day (the 4th) so I could set up and record a video of the progress.
However, due to a stupid folder on my phone tricking my ass into thinking it was empty, I accidentally deleted the video files before I could even get them on my computer for editing. Whatever, staying mad isn’t gonna bring ‘em back. But do consider subscribing to my Patreon and/or checking out my TeePublic and Storenvy shops, because I'm gonna invest in a proper camera before I do any more videos (live or recorded) of me working on physical media.
Plus, since doing that Optimus Primal marker sketch , I've wanted to take another shot at doing a Transmetal character with markers. I may have to revisit Primal so I can do a proper full-body sketch of his Transmetal form.
