Yes...the Presidential Service Badge. I was part of the security detail for Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1, aka Marine One) from July 99 to March 02.

Cool; one of my Army buddies was part of the Marine Presidential detail (Gutierrez). he is now a SSG and I'm trying to get him into my currnt unit, since most of the E-6s and E-7s are either retiring or leaving the unit; so we need NCOs, hopefully, I'll get my E-5 soon (there is talk of putting me as a team leader).

Unfortunately, no. I've not yet been deployed in support of any forward operations. My younger brother =animedevildog , however, has been over there twice. As have several of my friends. I say unfortunately, only because I wish I was there to help protect my brothers- and sisters-in-arms. Thanks for the view and comment!
