Wolf: it wouldn't make a difference. Wolves have more improved sense of smell and hearing than any cat like creature. granted cats may have more improved reflex and balance but hardly counts for anything

Wolf: Well a wolf would make noises in the dark to get it's prey to panic so much that it will cause them to either too afraid to move or have it run with no idea where it's going and then run it down
