<3 I know John looks like it but I really didn't just trace. >< Just well over an hour of staring at it and agonizing over the face! I'm still not sure I'm completely satisfied with it, but it's a start

Haha dont worry about it! Im already flattered to be helpful for others and having my drawings used as reference.
The best way to learn is to copy others great work, I do it a lot.
So be free to imitate everything you want, once you understand the form you can draw your own poses easily.
I'll try to finish this tutorial once I get some free time , I'll include other things like skeleton, gesture features, detailed approach to fore/back legs and many other stuff

<3 Gestures are probably the thing I have most issue with. x] So mostly it's just a lot of standing there being uninteresting no matter what I draw. <3 Defs looking forward to it though
Also, which I meant to say last time -- Thank you for the faves! :3

Sounds simple but major problems are with circles for me o.o' I probably should learn vectoring. Since easier.

xD Vectoring takes 10 more time to do something than drawing and its not really easy, specially masking and shaping.
But well, the only advice is to draw and train your arm for circles, I do it every time as warm up before drawing
