It reveals several things:
(1) Lelouch pushed Kallen away in R2 (episode 22) to protect her. He knew she'd follow him to the depths of hell if he hadn't done otherwise. That he pushed Kallen away and not CC shows that he cares more about Kallen than CC.
(2) Kallen, CC and Kaguya each write a poem, but Kallen's is the only one romantic in nature. Not to mention that based on how she words it, it suggests Lelouch reciprocated her feelings.
All in all, Lelouch/Kallen was the closest to being canon. At best, C.C. is simply in the "friends with benefits" territory.

most of all, i love this, very interesting.. my main problems are ones where the characters personality clashes with his/her actions etc...
like Kallen.. i'm pretty sure she hasn't cried a single time in the whole anime, and yet when she sees lelouch, despite the fact that she KNEW he was alive (and had figured that out in the anime too) she still cried seeing he's alive... i don't see her doing that. if she didn't know about Lulu, then big I'm-freaking-out eyes would be fine, and lovely, but i don't see her as the crying type..

also, i kind of don't get why he'd have to take off his mask, Lulu is a jerk in the way where i personally think he'd just let her be confused, or at the very least not jeopardize his secret identity so quickly..
Other than that though, i LOVE This! The style, althoogh not perfect, is really close to the original style, and you use the same facial expressions that the anime would. Also, i'm glad you have a REASON for lulu to be zero again, it was a pleasant surprise that it wasn't a simple "lol, i guess i'm bored, i'll be zero again!!" but instead a strategic strategy!
one other prob i had was when he said he didn't want to plan out eternity... he's lelouch.. He'll definitly have plans for segments of his existence, lol, maybe he's just playing Coy.
Anyway, please don't disshearten, this is my favorite show ever we're talking about here.. and unlike Nunnaly's Nightmare (shudder, so not realistic..) i think this could realisticly be a turn in the true show...
for storyline i give it a 8/10 : but that might change, the reason is i need to know HOW Suzaku got caught with nunally, because he's a BEAST fighter
for characters i give about a 8/10 again, because of the Kallen Crying thing and Lulu being less ... calculating
for twists and interesting stuff: 10/10 : i buy this so far!
overall: 15/10 : despite the flaws, i'm super excited to have a GOOD substitute for the real code geass, good job!

One more thing, you wrote that Kallen was aware that he is alive? She didn't know that Lelou is alive! She guessed about Zero Requiem and she thought that Lelouch has devoted himself. When he learned that he was alive it was a shock for her...

plus, all of the guards around lelouch would have probably had geass so they'd just barely miss suzaku so they would have no chance of killing him.. but it's possible they relied completely on his skill.. and even if they were under orders to not kill, they'd also be under orders to forget that order, lol
