Description
Part #11 of the LEGO Disney Universe Project is here! Let's take a look at this week's characters :31. BUZZ LIGHTYEAR
From Toy Story, Buzz was absolutely a lock for this roster, for two reasons : One, he's an official minifigure in the Disney Minifigures Line, and Two ... well, he's Buzz Lightyear. I'd lie if I said I'm not very attached to Toy Story, like most people are. Anyway, yes, the design is not mine, but of LEGO, who I think did a tremendous job with this character. I actually prefer this one over the older Toy Story 3 LEGO line that was released years ago, which actually had a sculpted Buzz head.
32. CAPTAIN HOOK
Another character whose design was made by LEGO already, Captain Hook would have been included regardless, of course. Peter Pan is one of those Disney movies that I watched to absolute death when I was a kid, because it was so great for me. And hey, it still is to this day. I was also a big Captain Hook fan. I have no shame in saying that he was the first villain I ever actually rooted for, lmao
33. CARL FREDRICKSEN
Not an official minifigure, so this design is mine. And I gotta say I'm actually very proud of it, despite my concerns. I didn't think Carl could look that good as a minifigure, but I don't think it's too bad. He's a short minifig, and I used the Swept Left hair, because I think they fit pretty good with the design.
I want to conclude by saying that while I did say that I would have 210 characters, the number has actually grown to 216, currently. I just couldn't force myself to keep those 6 characters out. That being, said, the number might still grow a bit. But I doubt it. Anyway, see you all next week with Part #12!
