Description
After a (kinda short) break from these, I'm ready to commence my next LEGO Project! And because today, November 18th marks the birth of the world's most famous mouse, what better way to celebrate than to assemble a lineup of 210 Disney Universe characters?
This roster will include characters from a load of different medias, including Disney Classics, Pixar Animated Movies, Silly Symphonies and Disney Live Action Movies, and even Disney Parks! You'll see some very familiar faces, along with some other that probably will have you scratching your head a bit, in the spirit of Tt Games series of LEGO Videogames. That's right, much like my previous project, this lineup will be structured as if it was the cast of a LEGO game, so I will also include the abilities that each character will have. There was a lot of work in deciding a balanced amount of unique abilities for more than 200 characters, something I have not done for LEGO Playstation All-Stars. With that, I just chose characters and gave them abilities. Another new thing is that this time I will only use official LEGO colors to draw the figures, so you'll notice a much more consistent palette of colors in these. Lastly, I will give each character a short paragraph here in the description, commenting on the design process, their abilities and overall a comment on that particular character. But enough of that, so let's start with the first three characters!
1. MICKEY MOUSE
Of course, the Mouse is first. You may be raising a brow at this, because I chose to not use the official LEGO design of him. That's because I went with a design inspired by the (ongoing) 2013 series Mickey Mouse. Aside from being a critically acclaimed series, it would also have designs that kids would recognize more easily. Besides, it is a very classic look. As for his abilities, it was though, like all of the Mickey Mouse and his Friends lineup. It was important for me to make these characters be useful in levels but also recognizable in what they do, so I took a lot of inspiration from various cartoons for Mickey. As for the Marbles he throws, that is a reference to Mickey Mania (Mickey's Wild Adventure), which is a 1996 videogame developed by ... you guessed it, Tt Games!
2. MICKEY MOUSE (STEAMBOAT WILLIE)
What, you thought I would not include Mickey's first look in here? Of course Steamboat Mickey is in! And he's a much more cartoony, slapstick version of Mickey, at that. All of his abilities are direct references to Steamboat Willie, naturally.
3. MICKEY MOUSE (SORCERER'S APPRENTICE)
You may or may not remember the 1940 animated feature 'Fantasia', but you have surely seen this version of Mickey before, as the segment 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice' from that movie is one of the most famous and loved shorts of Mickey Mouse ever. Also, much easier for me to come up with his abilities, compared to the other versions, of course.
And that's it for today! Stay tuned for Part #2 coming soon! Lots of exciting characters to come, so I too am thrilled to get started with it. Until next time!

I bet would love this, since he loves both LEGO and Mickey Mouse.

Buddy, 200 seems not enough, so why not expand the Roster to 400+?
- More than 400? That's ridiculously Big.
Me: I will make a series of LEGO Designs if LEGO would be willing to make Goof Troop, A Goofy Movie and An Extremely Goofy Movie LEGO sets.
