Description
Part #19 of the LEGO Disney Universe Project is here! First batch after the newly announced Wave 2 of Disney Minifigures by LEGO, so yay for that. Anyway, the characters :55. DOPEY
"The Seventh Dwarf", as Disney referred to him as, is actually just the third one I've done so far. Anyway, like Bashful and Doc, he is a short minifigure and uses the same hat piece as everyone else, but he is of course the only one without the Beard piece. Nothing much else to say here, his design was pretty straightforward to get, aside from the fact that the lack of ears on LEGO Figures is very noticeable with this particular character.
56. DORY
The design for this character is 100% made by Tt Fusion for LEGO The Incredibles (Specifically by Character Artist Eugenia Peruzzo) because the character is featured in that game and I don't think any changes were necessary. And much like in that game, I imagine Dory to swim around in a sort of Water Sphere, since she can't obviously move on the ground. The HUB World would of course feature some water parts where aquatic characters like Dory and Ariel could freely swim, ala LEGO Dimensions.
57. DUMBO
And finally, here's Dumbo! His design is inspired by the upcoming movie (Comes out in a week at the time of this writing!), like most franchises with a recent or upcoming live action movie (Except for Aladdin and Lion King, more on those soon). Dumbo's figure design was fully made by me, so I do take credits for that! It doesen't look too bad though, if I do say so myself. Also, I can't remember if Dumbo is ever seen shooting water from his trunk, but elephants do that and I need characters to have as many different abilities as possible.
So these were the characters of this week! Hope you enjoyed them! Do let me know in the comments, as feedback is always appreciated. I'm loving this project probably more than I loved the previous one, so at least I'm having fun.
