Description
This is a piece of Concept Art related to a new project of mine, this was created to my specification/instruction by an awesome artist known as The-Chronothaur who now works as a concept artist on the Halo mod Sins of the Prophets. It's got no relation to Amalgamation.

The Spectres are a group of Super Soldiers who belong to the Realm Wars Universe, set in around 2081 of the real world, it's a very grounded take on Science-Fantasy. Spectres are chosen from Special Forces all over the world, from Navy Seals, SAS, Spetsnaz and many more, they are said to be augmented genetically and artificially, they are enhanced to be stronger and faster than regular humans with cybernetic upgrades as well like synthetic organs, and mental augmentations allow some units to exercise psychic powers such as telekinesis and pre-cognition, it's always good to have one guy in your fire-team who can predict and call out danger. There armour, apart from providing protection, climate comfort, enhancing strength, speed and providing technological assistance like intelligence and comms, also uses active camouflage panels, Spectres are precision special forces units that move in and out of ops usually without even being seen, and if they are spotted all most people report is a translucent silhouette, hence the name "Spectres." Oh, they also have the genetic healing abilities, but unlike characters like Wolverine or Deadpool it will take time to regrow a limb, and a lot of food because organic mass doesn't just come out of nowhere. Think of it as akin to growing a fetus/baby in the womb, or putting on muscle mass. The powers in Realm Wars are usually grounded in as much realistic science as possible and that's just one example.

Also the idea for there armour was that it was supposed to be realistic, comparisons to real life full head gear like the Viper P2 are made, the armour can be moved in without hindering the wearer and is covered with webbing (pouches) to store ammunition, food, water and other supplies you generally see soldiers wearing in the field, this is based off of what the military already makes in real life.

The Realm Wars Universe begins with a short light novel I wrote which can be found here, the light novel could be described as "a grounded military political action oriented science-fantasy thriller with super soldiers, war and beings whose genetic heritage is not of this earth."

The other concept art and book cover was done by Shaya-Fury check it out it's in the free sample. I originally wanted to set it to 1USD but Amazon wouldn't let me 3 is the cheapest it would go haha. I'm not really interested in money as I am in people reading it, I would however love to make it to Amazons best seller list somehow that'd be cool, ambitious but it's what I am aiming for. If you have money problems buying it but genuinely want to read it note me and we can work something out.
