Description
EDIT: When I updated it I changed the enemies from Covenant to Geth and added in Titans to diversify it a little bit more, since this is a crossover page. I also am aware that those Geth are huge, they create 30ft model Primes nick-named Titan Geth by humans to compete with Cybertronians, more info on that when I add Geth to the Factions folder. The Amalgamation Universe is a Sci-Fi videogame crossover universe that has it's own expanded lore, galaxy map, timeline and comics.

In the Amalgamation Universe the UNSC has three branches, the mechforce, the Navy and the Marines. These guys are almost exactly the same as they are in the Halo universe, except we'll be sticking with the Reach/CEA models, because I find them to be the most realistic, military orientated armours of all of them. Webbing is important to a soldier guys.
The Marines are mostly deployed from ships to ground, and operate mostly on planet surface's, however can be deployed to space stations or to board enemy ships when needed. They are the standard soldiers of there branch, equivalent to the Navy Guards of the Navy Branch.

BACKGROUND STORY:
This is the battle of Sigma Octanus IV sometime after November of 2183, a human colony world which had been invaded by the the Covenant to steal a Forerunner artifact from the Museum Cote D'Azure in the traditional halo timeline, whereas in this universe it was the Geth which made it there first. It is unknown why the Geth have an interest in Forerunner tech but it's been theorised that because there is a connection between the Forerunners and the Protheans, that there is indirectly a connection between the Forerunners and the Reapers. It is known that both empires fought but some knowledge hints that both empires may of united against greater enemies, and recovering technology from both empires may yield great secrets. The Forerunners also created many great AI constructs and there knowledge may further develop the Geth's artificial hardware.
However the Covenant has no love for the Geth, and the fight you lay eyes on eventually turned into a three way cluster-fuck as Covenant forces commanded by Oro Varamee (an Elite OC) arrived to steal the arti-fact as they did in the Halo Universe. The battle ended as what most would call a three way tie as the UNSC and Geth retreated from the useless carcass of a world that was left, the Covenant claimed an official "victory" though as there forces decided to stay and glass the planet for what it was worth.
Oro was unable to recover the artifacts for his superiors, it was instead obtained by Blue Team for the UNSC, but he was able to attach a spy probe UNSC Destroyer Iroquois which revealed Reach's location to the Covenant.

Ah yes the Heretic Geth here are going to be very challenged and troubled by the mess soon to be, but who wins this battle, the Heretic Geth, the Covenant forces, or by mere luck the Marines here with their forces and backup?

There's more then just this group of marines, the poster is made to showcase them specifically though and that's why they're the forefront.
The background story expands beyond the Marines, I'm just utilising as much time and space as possible
as for who wins, I kinda had in mind that for this particular battle nobody wins.
both the Geth and the Marines kinda withdraw as the Covenant glasses the planet, so I guess kinda the Covenant. I'll add that in since I don't plan on making any more images for this.

This probably would be something to be see on the Extranet and other news stations and especially have Oro inquire on the successful recovery of said artifacts.
