Description
So this is the WIP for the comic that I'm doing for my portfolio that'll send to Gothenburgs University. Inspired mostly by Lana Del Rey's song 'Dark Paradise'. Here's the [link] to the song.Feel free to give me both good and bad critique, because I really want - and NEED - this to be the best piece I've ever done, if I'll be sending it as a part of my portfolio.
As this is only the WIP, the pictures are VERY 2D, with little to no shading, no colors and hardly any backgrounds, so that I already know and I will of course fix that for the finished piece.
PLEASE comment!!
UPDATE
And here's the finished and colored version:

Well with norse i think dying in battle was the only requirement, then epicness. I wonder if you just make your own religion you get to go to that afterlife?
Totally, some record besides their name on a memorial would be nice.
I hated him, he's way too arrogant. Plus scenes with him always seem to have me pulling rifles and pistols i don't have out of my butt.
As he tries to kill the salarian councillor: What the hell, you don't have that pistol! Everything you own is better! Use your Revenant for christ sake"
As he escaped after stabbing thane: "What the hell, YOU HAVE A SNIPER RIFLE THAT IS DESIGNED TO TAKE DOWN TANKS! USE IT!"
When he jumped on my car in the citadel and i pulled out a predator pistol: "What are you doing? You have 5 guns on you, none of them are that piece of junk! Use an smg!
As i am shooting him in the face on thessia: "God dammit, even while recharging nothing is bloody working on this guy, i shot him in the butt while he was running away!"
On Thessia's cutscene where he escapes, again: "What the hell you threw away the Avenger weeks ago! Pull out your Revenant and fill him full of holes!"
I hate him, i put enough firepower in him to kill a room full of banshees and his plot armour was too thick to penetrate.

Well, I would very much like the afterlife to be how I imagine it, because then everyone would be happy X'3
I actually liked Kai Lang, because he was a good antagonist being all arrogant and a jerk X'3 What I didn't like was that you could fill with enough bullets to kill, like you said, a room full of banshees and he was like "That's the best you can do?" Though I rarely used weapons in ME3, I just charged every enemy to death I love playing Vanguards.

Hmm, maybe like aria's club on omega? I could think of worse things.
He was a good antagonist, but he really overestimated his abilities, if he faced shepard alone he would have lost in his first appearance.
Lol, i mostly forget i even have powers! I'm just really good at shooting things. Except tactical cloak, most useful power ever.
I played a vanguard too, that is a lot of fun, charge and nova-ing all over the place.

AmandaSylvia In reply to Haupmann [2012-05-01 12:03:56 +0000 UTC]
The afterlife I hope for is one where everyone ends up being where they want to be
Well, yes, he would. Because Shepard is awesome and Kai Lang is far from the best. I mean... Thane kicked his ass (before he got stabbed at least). And since I mostly upgraded my powers, especially charge and nova, he would be dead on Thessia before he could ask for help.
Vanguard is definitely my favorite class. I always end up frustrated whenever I don't play a Vanguard because I have to run to get to my targets and it takes too long X'3

Haupmann In reply to AmandaSylvia [2012-05-01 16:41:25 +0000 UTC]
Huh...i don't know how good that would be. I might try to take over all the afterlives simply because i have the time on my hands.
Yep, a dying drell kicked his arse. I like to think Shepard twisted the omni blade a bit before he died.
Indeed, powers don't mean a lot against this guy, except cloak, he'll run after your squad if you use it. Hell for a vanguard you could just charge him as he's escaping on the citadel.
"Alright, Shepard can't reach me here, after the-"
"Raaah!" *Biotic charge*
I like infiltrator the best cause i love to headshot everything and its mother, especially with ME3's exploding heads, occasionally with the black widow it will make their entire bodies explode into chunks.
I just stay back and snipe everything, who runs anywhere?

AmandaSylvia In reply to Haupmann [2012-05-01 16:49:23 +0000 UTC]
Well, it would be your afterlife to do what you wanted with it X'3
Well, let me put it like this: My Vanguard-Shep usually killed all the guys before the rest of the team got there. You just use charge and then nova. If anyone is still alive, heavy melee or Black Widow, depending on how far away the target is X'3
π: 0 β©: 1
Haupmann In reply to AmandaSylvia [2012-05-01 17:32:12 +0000 UTC]
So you advocate me taking over the afterlife? :S
I kill people before vanguards even round the corner to charge them. with Shepard, i kill them before they even register as targets, never see the health bar.
Like on thessia on that bridge, theres a bunch of marauders and cannibals,m i kill them all before they even get a shot off.
π: 0 β©: 1
AmandaSylvia In reply to Haupmann [2012-05-01 17:58:24 +0000 UTC]
Of course. But only if I can be your right hand. Or left, depending on if you're right-handed or left-handed X'3
I can do that too, since my vanguard carries a Black Widow, but it's much more fun to charge everything to death X'3
π: 0 β©: 1
Haupmann In reply to AmandaSylvia [2012-05-01 20:09:34 +0000 UTC]
Left, my right hand is my favourite hand, its way better than my left.
True, on my vanguard speedrun i just charged and novaed everything, even atlas's, made the mistake of trying it on a phantom or 2, i missed and got stabbed to death, first time dying too.
Impaling everything with spikes from the graal spike thrower is pretty damn fun too.

AmandaSylvia In reply to Haupmann [2012-05-01 20:25:29 +0000 UTC]
Aww.
Yeah, did that mistake too X'3 Damn those phantoms! Now I just use melee on them, or stick them on my team.

Don't worry, i'm a great boss, lots of breaks, great benefits, exemption from my wrath...
Its a pretty good deal.
With infiltrator i had no problems, but vanguard is a close range deal, mostly.

AmandaSylvia In reply to Haupmann [2012-05-02 10:21:59 +0000 UTC]
Oh alright.
Yeah, I like infiltrator too, but it's still that problem with getting around. It takes so long to just run to wherever I want to go.

Haupmann In reply to AmandaSylvia [2012-05-02 20:13:02 +0000 UTC]
A bit, i usually only stay in one or 2 places, then come out when everything is dead. Sneaking around and beating things to death with my rifle is fun too though.

I'm everywhere at once. I usually just go charge, nova, melee, charge, nova, melee with the occational pull whenever I encounter a Guardian X'3

That it can. And when the enemies are too far away to use charge, it's also good. I loved using it during the Archangel mission in ME2.

I don't really remember what i did in that mission, i recall beating a lot of people to death while invisible though.

I remember sniping a lot of people from Garrus' base even before they got to the bridge X'3 I also remember that I used it during Mordin's mission, and Grunt's.

The third or so time i just ignored the fact i was meant to be in the apartment and started bashing in heads with my Phalanx and sniping mechs because damn i loved that pistol. I wish the melee system of 3 was in 2, would have been so awesome.
π: 0 β©: 1
AmandaSylvia In reply to Haupmann [2012-05-10 12:32:27 +0000 UTC]
Oh yeah, I loved the melee system in the third game. I wish it would've been in all of the games. I would've just charged and beaten the crap out of everyone X'3 I'm replaying ME3 now with my Vanguard, and I almost feel sorry for Cerberus and the husks, because after using one charge and one nova, I've killed pretty much everyone around. X'3
π: 0 β©: 1
Haupmann In reply to AmandaSylvia [2012-05-10 12:43:17 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, melee was fairly usless in 1, 2 was mostly about punching geth primes in the groin or whacking husks in the face with a rifle.
I can't play Me3 anymore, makes me sad. Vanguard is seriously overpowered in 3, but Infiltrator, as soon as it got tactical cloak was made a very easy class. Plus giant guns.
π: 0 β©: 1
AmandaSylvia In reply to Haupmann [2012-05-10 12:55:26 +0000 UTC]
Aww, too bad. I haven't really thought about it before, but I guess that Vanguard is overpowered in ME3. I guess I just didn't notice because I've always liked Vanguard better than the other classes.

Haupmann In reply to AmandaSylvia [2012-05-11 02:47:01 +0000 UTC]
It is a lot of fun, but it becomes a spam fest of charge and nova. Even on insanity thats what happens. I just like sniping heads, especially with the new head explosions. Very satisfying.
π: 0 β©: 1
AmandaSylvia In reply to Haupmann [2012-05-11 13:26:59 +0000 UTC]
But I like spamming charge and nova X'3 I spammed charge in ME2 too. But it is fun to watch the heads explode. That's why I always make Garrus carry the Black Widow, because then you get exploding heads randomly.

Haupmann In reply to AmandaSylvia [2012-05-13 06:56:03 +0000 UTC]
"Scoped and dropped" indeed.
It almost makes the game too easy. I did a bit on insanity and i only had to use twice the shots, was just "Meh, not hard. But damn this thing is AWESOME"
π: 0 β©: 1
AmandaSylvia In reply to Haupmann [2012-05-13 13:14:23 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, the whole game was a bit too easy, I have to say. The only time I can remember dying was during the Rachni-mission, and that was only because I ran into those spores and they exploded on me. :/ But I still liked it!
π: 0 β©: 1
Haupmann In reply to AmandaSylvia [2012-05-13 14:16:10 +0000 UTC]
Yeah well, some people have trouble, which is weird, because unlike, say, Halo, ME3's gamplay is very manageable on the hardest setting.
Ohh those things, i hated them, i used slam on em a bunch until they were gone. On vanguard you can just nova them all, with the radius upgrade anyway. I think the first time i died was at that bit just before you go to the citadel beam. A banshee snuck up on me, i ran straight backwards away from it and ran into a brute. It did not end well. I love Mass Effect insanity, except in me1, rockets kill you in one shot.

AmandaSylvia In reply to Haupmann [2012-05-13 14:31:03 +0000 UTC]
I just used the Firestorm everytime I came across them X'3
I could never play on insanity though. I have a bad habbit of not really having a strategy, just spamming my powers until everything is dead. That, or snipe everything from a safe distance. :I And ME1... God, I hated coming across a Thresher Maw in that game. One spit of acid and you were dead.
π: 0 β©: 1
Haupmann In reply to AmandaSylvia [2012-05-14 03:03:03 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, flamethrower works too, such bad range though.
I forget i have powers a lot of the time, i just enjoy shooting faces, from as far away as possible.
Threshers were fairly easy, all you had to do was stay away and fire at the enormous target. and be careful not to get to close to one of the...spawn points. Colossi were horrible though because 1 shot kill on insanity, infinite range and 2 shot kill on the mako.
π: 0 β©: 1
AmandaSylvia In reply to Haupmann [2012-05-14 12:38:14 +0000 UTC]
I always ended up going right over the Maw, so the Mako almost always flipped on its back >.< Try killing the Thresher maw in the first game as an Adept without the Make. Not so easy I tell you! But God, the Colossus...! I hated those things. Mostly I just tried to run over them with the Mako :I
π: 0 β©: 1
Haupmann In reply to AmandaSylvia [2012-05-16 08:03:38 +0000 UTC]
Haha, theres only like 3 or 4 maws, so it doesn't happen too often. Pff, adept is waste of time, assault rifle everything in the face.
Running over those was fun, they just crumple.

AmandaSylvia In reply to Haupmann [2012-05-16 13:16:39 +0000 UTC]
True, but for some reason it feels like I take them on all at the same time. >.<

Absolutely. The first playthrough I did trying to kill everything I came across turned out to be very frustrating as that caused me to die every ten minutes or so, while I did the Noveria-mission.

ooh, noveria, that was pretty annoying mission, especially on insanity.
