Description
Last known pict of Captain Leo Thorn of the 12th Minervan Tank Legion.
The 12th were one of three regiments sent to defend Armageddon from Orks during the Third war for Armageddon.
The 12th held part of the flank of the Imperial defences surrounding the Hive City of Death Mire.
Taken by surprise and surrounded by Orks, the High Command ordered a break-out to rejoin other Imperial forces defending Death Mire.
Captain Thorn was given the task of covering the retreating remnants of the 12th and was last seen exhorting his troops to further deeds of heroism against the evil xenos filth.
After five days of fighting the 12th finally broke out, but at a cost of over half their men and over three-quarters of their Leman Russ Battle Tanks.
