In 216.M41, during fierce fighting on the world of Segrenstokh, Lorsonvost city was surrounded by Khornate Chaos cultists and elements of traitor guardsmen/PDF.
Despite being outnumbered and severely outgunned, the 8th held out for 6 days before being overrun and destroyed to a man.
The pennant was recovered by the 26th Vostroyan regiment during its re-taking of Lorsonvost.
