Two references in two days? I'm on a roll! And it appears I've finished all of the Sinnoh Legends I planned to have done. In fact, I've done it so fast that I haven't even been given the opportunity to respond to all of the lovely comments on my Arceus and Giratina references. Be assured, I have read them all, and I actually had to lay down and just process all of the kind words given. Thank you so much for supporting this project. It's thanks to your encouragement that I have been able to make more of these!
Now I do have a question. Sinnoh is done, and Unova should be next. Unova has some of the hardest designs, especially with all the dragons. Would you all prefer I go in order of region (more time between reference drops) or scurry around from region to region? Order doesn't matter much for me (I did Ho-Oh and Lugia first just because I love them the most) but I suppose it is nice to be consistent.

  Cresselia

    Height : 4' 11"
    Weight : 188.7 lbs.
    Ability : Levitate

    Personality : One word that could be used to describe Cresselia would be self-sacrificing. She's a part of the Lunar Duo along with Darkrai, and takes responsibility over curing nightmares and helping all her subjects get good sleep. She's incredibly affectionate with humans and the self-acclaimed mother of most Legendary Pokemon. She despises xenophobia with all her good heart and will travel across the world to another continent if it means helping those in need. She already works herself half to death, but her physical condition is made worse by the fact that she barely sleeps. That is not a decision she makes by choice- she knows the importance of getting good sleep very well, but it occurs because of her counterpart, Darkrai. Darkrai is unpredictable and malicious, attacking all in his wake with devastating nightmares. Cresselia grows feathers known as "Lunar Wings" (see above) which can cure all nightmares, but they often take months to grow in. She will give these to any in need, and will end up plucking every last one until she has no protection for herself. Because she follows Darkrai she is constantly attacked by his nightmares, which she braves with all the strength she can muster. She gets a lot of appreciation for it, and Arceus has made her the universal healer because of her ability to save Pokemon from the brink of death. She works with Shaymin, Celebi, and Xerneas when it comes to healing injuries, and deeply considers them all friends. Her position used to belong to Ho-Oh before the accident, and she's one of the only legends outside of Johto that knows of him and looks up to him. She's only a hundred years old, but works enough that many younger legends think she's as old as time itself.
    Battle Effectiveness : Cresselia hates fighting and will not participate. Three of her four moves are status moves, and in battle she will be behind the lines healing those who have fallen. However, when cornered (usually by Darkrai) she can use a hefty Moonblast to wind her opponent and escape. She can take a hit well considering her frail body, and though she lacks special attack, she makes up for it with her stamina and agility.
    Special Abilities : Her purpose was always to cure nightmares after Darkrai came to be, but she goes beyond the line of duty. Just being around her is soothing, and her floating veil + forehead gem is always glowing. Like Suicune, it's often mistaken that she controls the aurora when in fact it's just the colours being strewn out from her veil and tail. Her saliva and presence can take away status conditions.

  Shaymin (Information for Sky Forme in Brackets)

    Weight : 4.6 lbs. (11.5 lbs.)
    Ability : Natural Cure (Serene Grace)

    Personality : Shaymin has got spunk, and she will not be afraid to voice her opinions. Many Legends don't take her seriously because of her small size, so she's often found in Sky Forme. She's a total sass-master, and talks back to even Arceus, which gets her in trouble. Shaymin only really follows rules that benefit her, and telling her not to do something often provokes her to do said thing. She hates most legends and finds them egotistical jerks that only look out for themselves. Unlike Cresselia she doesn't like Xerneas at all, and finds Celebi too much of a nature bore to hang around. Speaking of Cresselia, the swan is the only Legend she can hang around (and she has affectionately nicknamed the Legend "dearest Cress). She deeply admires Cresselia's self sacrificing personality, and upon finding out about Cresselia's near suicidal plan of giving away her feathers she insists on helping her friend chase down Darkrai, which conveniently lets her pollinate the world. Cresselia denies all help, but Shaymin will secretly heal her with Aromatherapy or Synethesis while the other is sleeping just out of pure caution. It's the only time her soft side comes out, and though she doesn't so much have a temper as much as she just gets pissy, she will fight to defend her friend with every last hair on her flank.

Battle Effectiveness : In Land Forme Shaymin is no more than a tricky pest. She uses the sun to heal herself and her teammates, hits them with a Leech Seed, then scurries away as her opponent's energy is sapped. It's when she transforms into Sky Forme that she becomes a menace. Her moves Seed Flare and Air Slash both have the opportunity to lower the opponent's defence, and this chance is raised to a whopping 70% because of her ability Serene Grace. She's deceptively fast, and uses her size to her advantage, zipping in and out of her opponent's line of vision. She has a deep love for Air Slash, and will use it a lot in combat.

Special Abilities : Shaymin can absorb toxic materials and status conditions using her petals and grassy pelt. When she does this her flowers turn a deep mahogany colour, and the energy is stored for when she will use Seed Flare, which is a powerful move that is capable of wiping out entire forests and mountains with just one release. The impact is near blinding and deafening, the energy exerted used as a shield which pushes back allies and opponents in a staggeringly large radius. Like Arceus, she produces flowers when she walks and can pollinate devastated forests just by being there. Her biggest accomplishment was blooming an entire field of flowers with a single breath, the nearby village naming itself Floroama Town in gratitude for her. She's able to bloom flowers on her back to use as camouflage. In Sky Forme, she can use her wings to fly.
