This Christmas eye-candy is courtesy of my beloved aunt Candy who asked me to reset a favorite gem for her.

Now I must explain that my aunt is both a tried and true Southern belle and one very wise woman. She is eccentric, as most of the people in my life seem to be, but she is centered. She's one of those that truly lives and loves life and gives praise for every breath she takes.

She's very like her stone - a wonderful blend of earth and spirit and peace. And I'm glad I had the chance to surround it in the gold it deserves.
