After a long hiatus from Meitantei Holmes art, I found this in a sketchbook and inked it, old though it is. *grins at * Hehee hope you in particular like it, my dear
I know you've been wanting me to get back into the fandom, and I swear I was never out of it, just preoccupied with other fandoms that I love Sherlock Holmes/Hound and **MY** version of Irene Adler as she WOULD HAVE appeared, from the popular Studio Ghibli show of the 1980's, Meitantei Holmes/Sherlock Hound, directed originally by Hayao Miyazaki. A very sweet, touching, funny, and at times intense show, loosely based on the Arthur Conan Doyle stories, with the considerable side track that there are love triangles hinted at. Oh yeah, , I promised you I'd loan you the first DVD in case you might like it, since you loved Kiki's Delivery Service...
Anyway just a crappy (IMO) lineart of the couple I viciously support, lol, Holmes and the only person to ever outwit him, an ingenious opera diva and former Pinkerton agent in New Jersey. God I love drawing her hair XD

Irene Adler is Arthur Conan Doyle's character--she shows up in the case "A Scandal in Bohemia" in the original Sherlock Holmes novels, but she was not included in Miyazaki's Sherlock Hound/Meitantei Holmes series. So I just gave her a "dog-ified" design and stuck her in the series as I would imagine her appearing
