Description Rather than type out the same thing over and over every time someone asks, I've decided I'm going to make a more formal tutorial out of it. I will be using a set of Miku recolors to demonstrate how each of the physics settings can impact the model's movement. Only ONE setting has been changed for each Miku. Everything else (besides hair color, of course) is completely identical. I suppose that I didn't HAVE to recolor the hair, but I think it makes it easier to keep track of which one has which setting altered. The edited values have been set very high to make sure the impact this has on the movement is noticeable. At more normal values, the effects can be more subtle.

This tutorial is NOT going to tell you what numbers to throw on your model to make it work. That's because there is no one-size-fits-all answer since every model is different, and the behavior that you want to see can also change depending on what model you're working with. (ex. A stiff denim skirt is not going to move the same way as light, fluffy hair and the settings are going to reflect that.) MMD physics is an art in this way. But knowing what the different numbers actually do can help you understand what you need to change and how you need to change it in order to get the type of movement you want.

Each part will be a 10 second video render converted into a GIF, showing one of the physics clones performing next to the original, unaltered Hatsune Miku. (She's the control.) Most of the text will likely be in the descriptions as a result, so PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ THEM!!!
I will also be uploading each part as I finish it, instead of at my usual "one upload per week" pace.
Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions you may have.

I do not own Vocaloid or Miku.
MME used here is Sweet Shader.
